Mariana is an Egyptian 3rd generation hairdresser, and in the past 20 years has become a Transformational Hair Therapist; She is the Visionary and Mystic at The House of Metamorphosis.

Mariana has been in and out of the commercial hairdressing industry for 4 decades cultivating a unique brand that has seen many people transform into their authentic selves.

Mariana spent the better part of her thirties acquiring qualifications in therapy and interpersonal/somatic tools, that have built and cultivated the richness of her deep intimate work. Her work has seen her move from commercial spaces, to seeing clients one on one based on her commitment to her therapy work and honoring the vow of confidentiality.

Her passion for working with people, and aligning them to their truth, using the varied modalities she has developed over the years, has seen her birth House of Metamorphosis, and the Evolve Curriculum™ to begin sharing with her industry.

Her pathway now is to lead hairdressers that see the future of the industry through this process, as an opportunity for them to Evolve ™and finally merge interpersonal relating with professional transformative magic, helping each hairdresser to support and align their clients to their authentic truth.

Cheryelle King | @cheryelleking

Cheryelle’s love for the hair industry runs deep, with over 30 years of passionate dedication. She’s always had a vision for creating meaningful change to support future generations and elevate the industry as a whole. At just 21, she opened her first salon and led with a forward-thinking approach, introducing holistic business methods long before they were widely embraced.
Her desire to make a bigger impact sparked a love for education. In 2004, she began teaching in the TAFE system, mentoring hundreds of apprentices and hairdressers over 20 years. This chapter gave her invaluable insight and fuelled her mission to inspire and uplift others through powerful mentorship.
With qualifications in Training & Assessment, Leadership, Marketing, and NLP Master Practitioner, Cheryelle returned to business in 2019, combining her experience as an educator and businesswoman. Today, she works closely with salon owners as a coach, helping them create thriving, team-driven, and holistic salon ecosystems.
Her proudest achievement is the release of her unique program and book: The Ultimate Apprentice Training Program a mapped resource that empowers salon owners to train with confidence and purpose, ensuring a strong, sustainable future for the industry she loves.

Jake Putan | @whoisjakeputan

Jake Putan spent the first chapter of his career climbing the ladder of what he thought it meant to be a barber and hairdresser – chasing competitions, awards, stage work, higher pay, and celebrity clients.
The second chapter has looked very different: climbing down the ladder, dissolving titles and brand, and uncovering who he truly is beneath all the words.
In this journey, Jake discovered the deep purpose and meaning available through our craft when we reconnect to the truth of what we’re really here to do. He realised that our role as hairdressers has always been one of sacred guardianship – protecting and honouring each client’s personal experience.
Jake believes salons and barbershops are pillars of wellness within a community. And with that comes a greater responsibility: to see our work as something far beyond the hair itself.
His approach reminds us that every action we take is a prayer toward the life we are creating for ourselves and others.
And so he asks:
What is that life?
What is that role?
What is that legacy we are leaving behind?
