Charmaine isn’t just passionate about marketing – she’s lived and breathed it since she was 13. Too young to work legally, she convinced a marketing company to ‘hire’ her in exchange for gifts including a PlayStation, iPod, Nikes, and CDs. Twenty-two years later, her passion for marketing and business is stronger than ever.

As the Founder of Elevate Marketing + Communications, Charmaine works closely with beauty-based businesses, helping them increase profits and become fully booked. She’s partnered with over 500 businesses throughout her career, helping them scale and achieve consistent success. Her hands-on, no-nonsense approach, combined with extensive experience, has made her a trusted expert in business growth.

Charmaine is also an international speaker, delivering high-energy, practical, and inspiring sessions at major industry events across Australia, New Zealand, and the USA. Highlights include the International Beauty Show (IBS) New York 2025, International Lash Exhibition Arizona 2025, International Nails & Lash Exhibition Florida 2025, Beauty Show Australia 2025, and Aotearoa Lash Conference. While Charmaine now focuses on mentoring small business owners, her experience includes working alongside some of the most recognised names in the beauty industry. During her time leading marketing and brand strategy for Locks Lash, Australia’s longest-standing lash and brow educator, she played an instrumental role in shaping the brand’s voice, boosting its visibility, and reaching global audiences through creative campaigns. She also mentors Ana James, the world’s #1 SMP artist and founder of INKD SMP, Australia’s leading scalp micropigmentation clinic and training facility.
