Sheridan Rose Shaw is a POWERHOUSE in the hairdressing industry and the sole Creative Director of MAMAWEST. Celebrating 13 years of sobriety, she has channeled her addictive energy into creative & business transforming the inner west’s of Melbourne’s hairdressing scene, making waves for 18 years! Sheridan’s name is synonymous with creativity, community and excellence, having scooped up numerous awards including FAME TEAM Artistic Team of the Year, Victorian Salon of the Year 2023, Newcomer Salon of the Year, Most Innovative Business of the Year, Contribution to Business Award awards & Victorian Hairdresser finalist 24’ 25’ 26’, New Creative Talent finalist, HOT SHOTS finalist. Jessie Alice is the founder of EverCircle, an Australian salon-grade haircare brand built on a low-tox philosophy: ocean-safe, silicone-free formulas made with only the essential ingredients and nothing more. She is especially passionate about scalp and hair health, and the link between caring for yourself and caring for nature.

Her route into sustainable business was anything but conventional. It began with food rescue and her community food-waste project, Leftover Lovers, before time spent in the surf industry showed her how often beauty concerns kept women out of the water. EverCircle grew from that observation: professional haircare designed to care for both hair and the waterways it washes into.

Today EverCircle is made locally, stocked in select salons and stores across Australia, and recognised through multiple sustainability and small-business awards.

Fiona Beamish is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Australian Hairdressing Council (AHC), appointed in February 2025. With more than 30 years of experience in the global hair industry, Fiona brings extensive expertise across education, training, sales, business development and professional brand distribution. Her career has spanned Australia, Ireland, the UK and Asia, where she has built a strong reputation for identifying emerging industry trends, supporting business growth and helping salon professionals navigate an evolving industry landscape. Fiona has also successfully owned and operated the national distribution of a UK-based professional hair brand, giving her a deep understanding of both the creative and commercial realities of the salon sector. Beginning her journey as an apprentice hairdresser, Fiona has remained passionate about the unique combination of creativity, people, education and business that defines the profession. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with salon owners, educators and stylists as a coach, mentor and industry leader, with a strong focus on elevating professional standards, strengthening education pathways and supporting long-term business success. As CEO of the AHC, Fiona leads the member organisation’s advocacy, workforce development and member engagement initiatives, working closely with government, industry stakeholders, educators and business owners to support a stronger and more sustainable future for hairdressing and barbering in Australia. She is passionate about ensuring the industry’s voice is represented at the highest levels and that members feel supported, connected and empowered through education, advocacy and community. A former AHC member and contributor to the organisation’s member support team, Fiona’s leadership reflects her deep commitment to building a progressive, united and future-focused industry.
