Set within the iconic ICC Sydney, this one-day elevated education experience invites the industry into a space where technique is elevated, creativity is boundless, and the future of hairdressing is actively shaped. On Monday, June 29, from 8:30am to 5:00pm, the stage is set for a new era of learning, one that moves beyond the expected and into the extraordinary craft of hair.
At its core, HAIR The Movement is about rediscovery, a return to the artistry, the discipline, and the deeply human craft that defines hairdressing at its best. In collaboration with Hair Festival, this vision expands even greater, bringing together a global collective of leading artists and educators whose work doesn’t just follow trends, but redefines them. This is education reimagined: Immersive, intentional, and unapologetically high-level.
About HAIR The Movement
Founded by legendary hairdressing visionary Sharon Blain, HAIR The Movement was born from a desire to restore depth, precision and creative integrity to industry education.
More than an event, it is a global collective, uniting artists who are committed to advancing technical excellence while nurturing the creative spirit. It is here that knowledge is shared generously, ideas are challenged, and the boundaries of hairdressing are pushed forward.
Following a landmark debut in 2025, HAIR The Movement now steps onto the Hair Festival stage, expanding its reach while maintaining its uncompromising standards. Together, these platforms signal a shift and a new benchmark for what education in this industry can, and should, be.

One of the most anticipated sessions of the day, bringing together Australia’s most awarded cutters and colourists in a rare collaboration. Our final session of the day presents one of the most extraordinary stylists that HAIR The Movement founder Sharon Blain has witnessed in a lifetime of hairdressing. Leoni’s ability to move, shape, finish and polish hair transcends technique. It is a level of artistry that very few will ever reach.
Taking the stage to share his mastery, Leoni will reveal the skills and signature approach that have earned him global recognition in the world of styling. This is a rare chance to witness true brilliance in motion, a fitting and unforgettable finale to the day.
