Mary Alamine
Co-owner of the internationally-acclaimed and award-winning Royals Hair, Mary Alamine’s career has spanned over a decade, a timeframe in which her dedication, passion and drive to not only excel as a salon owner but also her continuous wins in coveted hair industry awards.
Renowned for producing ground-breaking collections and setting a benchmark for creative excellence, Mary is constantly producing globally relevant, fashion forward and on-trend collections that grace the pages and covers of hair fashion magazines from around the world.
Mary owns four hair salons in Sydney with over 50 team members. The multi award winning Royals Hair salons have a dedicated Academy that delivers tailored workshops for hairdressers wanting to enter hairdressing competitions and guidance and assistance in the photo shoot process.
Monique McMahon
Monique McMahon is the Owner/Director of QUE Hair salon Darlinghurst as well as Director of Q Academy where she inspires and educates aspiring stylists.
Her professionalism in the industry and renowned. She is a Master colourist and educator by trade and was awarded as a finalist in the independent educator of the year awards by with AHIA.
Rumbie Mutsiwa
Rumbie Mutsiwa (pronounced: ‘Room-B’ ‘Mootsee-wah’) – Founder of Rumbie & Co., and fierce lover of all things curls. With expertise in wavy, curly and afro hair, her story is steeped in hair artistry, but Rumbie’s passion extends well beyond this. Creating a community that recognises, understands, and truly celebrates curls is the driving purpose.
Today, Rumbie & Co.’s expanded flagship salon is based in Chippendale, Sydney offering a range of specialist curl treatments, services, proprietary products. In 2019, she proudly established the Rumbie & Co. Academy – an acclaimed online and on-site training institute upskilling hairdressers in the art of curls. Through rigorous research and a whole lot of listening, Rumbie and her team have developed a specialist curl regime that nourishes and simplifies. By making the science of curls simpler and more enjoyable than ever, we’re on a mission to help as many people as possible to embrace their curls with confidence, and thrive.
