With a career spanning nearly four decades, Rex Silver has worked in most areas of the hair business and excelled, from freelance editorial, film and TV work to owning award-winning salons and barber shops. Ten years ago, he transitioned to barbering full-time, becoming a leading figure in the Australian industry. As the former editor of Australian barbershop magazine and a regular international judge, Rex’s expertise is widely recognised. He was approached by Heiniger to help launch them in the hair and barber market, a role that evolved into his current position as global creative director for the Swiss-based company.

2023 AMBA Australian Modern Barber of the Year and Co-owner of the Multi-Award-Winning Esquire Male Grooming Salon in Milton, Brisbane.
With a global perspective, Matt Clarke has honed his skills in various countries, such as the UK, Europe, and Canada, enriching his understanding of the barbering industry.
Matt works with the international brands American Crew and Heiniger.
A fully qualified chef with a film and TV writing degree, Matt finally found his creative, happy place in barbering eleven years ago. He has since risen as one of our industry’s driving forces and visionaries.

Tarik Jašarević is a nationally award-winning hair stylist known for blending hair, art, fashion, and professional service. Dedicated to personalised client care, his artistic and edgy style has earned widespread recognition. As a MATRIX Artist/Facilitator, Tarik has showcased his talents in shows across Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, collaborating with top hairdressers and earning international publications. He is one of Melbourne’s leading hairstylists with extensive training in Europe, the USA, and Australia. This year marks a peak in his creative journey as Tarik aims to become an internationally awarded stylist.
