Richi Grisillo | @richi_grisillo
Richi Grisillo, 2024 AHFA Australian Hairdresser of the Year, Moroccanoil Global Ambassador and founder of Acadèmie Salon. His work perfectly balances technical mastery and creative vision, both in and out of the salon.
An ingenious artist and inspirational mentor, he has pursued every opportunity to expand his expertise outside the salon, leading to editorial work that has graced the pages of Grazia, Vogue, Elle, GQ Australia, InStyle, Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel and more. He has worked on brand campaigns and editorials for Moroccanoil, SIR The Label, Wella Professional and CHANEL.
On the runway, he has styled hair for brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Zimmermann, Sass + Bide, and Toni Maticevski at New York, Paris, London, and Australia Fashion Weeks. Richi’s noteworthy clients have included Eva Mendes, Tyra Banks, Gemma Ward, Chloe Morello, Martha Kalifatidis, Melissa Doyle, and Vera Blue.
Richi has also earned numerous industry awards, most recently achieving the highest accolade of all, 2024 AHFA Australian Hairdresser of the Year.

2023 & 2024 AHFA New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year Chinney Yeap is a force on the New Zealand hair scene. After years of honing her craft in top salons, she took the bold leap of acquiring a 25-year-old boutique salon.
Her artistry speaks volumes. From recent titles like New Zealand Colourist of the Year to a Wella Trend Vision International bronze, Chinney’s work garners global recognition.
Beyond accolades, she inspires. As an NZ Moroccanoil artist and mentor, Chinney empowers aspiring stylists (formerly with Schwarzkopf ANZ, L’Oreal and Joico). She currently guides the Industry Creative Team, six promising NZ hairdressers.
Her work extends beyond the salon. She collaborates with industry A-listers, most recently looking after Julia Garner while filming in NZ, and creates iconic styles for fashion weeks and international editorials.
With 20 years of experience and passion for innovation, Chinney Yeap is a name synonymous with cutting-edge colour and unwavering dedication.

Michael Beel | @michaelbeelhair
Four-time NZ Hairdresser of the Year and 2024 AHFA Editorial Stylist of the Year, editorial and celebrity hairstylist Michael Beel has elevated his craft for nearly three decades, styling some of NZ’s best.
Working backstage at fashion weeks around the world, his editorial work graces the covers of magazines, and he can cut a sharp bob on a daily basis. He does all this while being personable and approachable.
Currently based in Wellington, NZ, as the Creative Director of Salute Hair Skin Spa, he’s worked with celebrities such as Sigourney Weaver, Cobrah, Scarlett Johansson, Taika Waititi and Rita Ora.
Big, luxurious, sexy hair is his passion, and he loves a blowout!
His style of education is approachable and maintainable. He keeps it real while doing so with a cheeky sense of humour!
His favourite quote is from the icon herself, Dolly Parton: “The higher the hair, the closer to God!”

Jordan Hone | @jordanhone
Jordan Hone is a celebrated hair artist renowned for his transformative work in fashion and editorial hairstyling. The winner of the 2021 AHFA NSW/ACT Hairdresser of the Year and 2015 FAME Team alumni, he was also International Hairstylist of the Year Finalist for 2023 Contessa Awards and has earned multiple AHFA Creative Colourist of the Year nominations.
A prominent figure in Australian fashion, Jordan served as Hair Director for Kookai and has styled hair at all major national fashion festivals, including Christopher Esber’s debut at Paris Fashion Week in 2023. Notable collaborations include campaigns for CHANEL and Bowie Wong, editorial shoots for Laud and INSTYLE, and leading L’Oréal Professionnel hair campaigns. On television, he styled hair for The X Factor and VIP guests attending the ASTRAs, ARIAs, and AACTA Awards.
Trusted by influencers and celebrities such as Dannii Minogue, Jennifer Hawkins, Olympia Valance, and Natalie Imbruglia. Jordan is also a trusted beauty media voice and a regular BeautyCrew contributor.
