Meet Your Educators

Lorna Evans | @lornaevanseducation

Lorna Evans is a significant name within the Australian and International hairdressing industry. She decided at a young age to develop her creativeskills in long hair styling, and today is known as one of the best in the business. Her education classes are highly sought after and her ability to spend quality time with each of her students makes her an industry favorite. Lorna opened her first salon at the age of 21 and quickly understood that long hair styling was an important and sometimes neglected part of hairdressing. She also realised that her strong business gave her the freedom to pursue all aspects of the industry and develop other skills, thus ensuring her salon offered it all. Lorna was a regular at hair shows throughout this time, often taking home an award. These acquired skills helped her embark on the next part of her journey when Matrix asked her to join their education team as a long hair educator. After great success, she then joined Redken as both a long hair and business educator, a role that took her around the Australian and International circuit. During her time with Redken, Lorna took on the role of hair director at many of Australia’s major fashion festivals, worked on photoshoots in New York and presented on stage in Las Vegas.

Their unique work has earned acclaim both nationally and internationally, working with renowned brands like L’Oreal, Matrix, Evy Professional, DeLorenzo, White Sands, Redken, and Toni & Guy. They’ve also captured hair collections for notable hairstylists including Kobi Bokshish, Christina Tatasciore, Bill Tsiknaris, Jo Habbaki and Benni Tognini, among many others.
