Ray is a hairdresser with 13+ years’ experience and a deep passion for hair extensions. After first discovering the brand during her apprenticeship, which she joined in 2020 in customer service, supporting stylists through real-world challenges behind the chair. Her natural connection with artists led her into education, where she developed global expertise and strong industry relationships. Now the Global Education & Product Development Coordinator, Ray supports education across 18 countries while helping drive product quality and innovation. Having experienced inconsistent training and standards firsthand, she is proud to help create the support, education, and tools she once wished she had — empowering stylists to feel confident, capable, and inspired.

Emma’s journey in the hair industry began on the salon floor as an apprentice, but it was her passion for the business that set her on a different path. After two years honing her craft, she transitioned into salon management and education, a pivot driven not by a lack of love for the industry, but by too much of it. She spent a further three years with a high-end, multi-site salon group in South Australia before relocating to Queensland and discovering her true calling with Shortcuts Software.

That was 22 years ago. Starting out through a reseller partnership for three years before joining Shortcuts directly, Emma has spent nearly two decades as part of the team, bringing a rare combination of on-the-floor experience and deep industry knowledge to everything she does.
